About
Let me share my passion of music with you.
I started playing the double bass at the age of 8. It just felt right to me. When I was 14 I picked up the electric bass and for the rest of high school I was involved with various orchestras, bands (symphonic, jazz, rock, etc), singing groups, and just about everything I could find to further my knowledge of music and performing. In 2015 I attended Ohio University studying with Dr. Garry Wasserman, and majored in classical performance with a minor in Jazz. In 2019 I enrolled at the University of Louisville to study with Sidney King earning a Masters in Performance and Pedagogy.
It was at Louisville I honed in on my passion for contemporary music. I loved working with cutting edge techniques and technology, and collaborating with composers to bring never before seen works to life. I feel it is our goal as performers to open minds and settle hearts with the possibilities of music.
I currently reside in Zanesville, OH and can offer in home lessons to neighboring locations for any student who is willing to learn and grow as a musician. Contact me today to set up a lesson and find your passion for music.
